Job Description

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Head of Product to spearhead the development and innovation of their betting and gaming mobile applications. Based in Malta, this leadership role is a critical part of the product management organization, tasked with crafting the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivering unparalleled player experiences across various platforms and markets.

Your Role Involves:

  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing & commercial, and customer service teams to deeply understand player, partner, and regulatory needs and expectations.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and agencies to capitalize on the latest industry technologies and trends.
  • Owning the product’s performance, quality, and user satisfaction, defining key metrics, and overseeing user research, feedback analysis, and product feature iteration.
  • Leading a team of product managers, providing them with the necessary skills, tools, and guidance to produce high-quality mobile applications.

We’re Looking For Someone With:

  • A proven track record of launching and scaling successful mobile applications in various markets, with at least 5 years of experience in product management within the betting and gaming industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics, user behaviors, preferences, and challenges in the betting and gaming sector, focusing on critical KPIs for mobile app success.
  • Expertise in the mobile app development process, including tools, frameworks, and best practices.
  • A data-driven, user-centric approach to product development, coupled with excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creativity and innovation, capable of generating ideas and solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Experience in identifying growth opportunities through innovation, while maintaining core business goals.
  • Ability to oversee product innovation and day-to-day activities, ensuring continuous growth and alignment with user needs.
  • Proven leadership in partnering with other product department leaders to align and execute product strategies, ensuring comprehensive support across departments.
  • Strong collaborative and communicative skills, able to influence and align stakeholders across different functions.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire, motivate, and foster the development of a high-performing product team, including recruiting new team members as needed.
